What does it mean to be middle class? At a hair salon by Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro we talk to some of the people who have made the transition into the new middle class. It's estimated that around 40 million Brazilians have been lifted out of poverty during the last decade. But what do they want? What are their aspirations? And how thin is the margin separating them from falling back into poverty?
