Amis: 'No limit to how offensive they can be about me'
The veteran novelist Martin Amis has been the victim of some brutal reviews of his work over the years. The novel Yellow Dog was subject to some intensive criticism.
He tells HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur some people think there is no limit to how offensive they can be about him and he believes the reason relates to his famous writer father Sir Kingsley Amis.
He says in the past it was not a disadvantage to be the son of a writer but he says society has changed and heredity was now seen as a taint.
