Two female members of staff were alone in the store. It was late evening and they were about to close.

Four men then entered, each had their face covered with a scarf or similar type of clothing. There was a lot of shouting with the offenders asking for the contents of the safe.

The staff told them they could not access the safe but were forced to hand over the contents of the tills. Two offenders get behind the counter and steal cigarettes from the display.

As all four offenders then left the store one shouted, “Cheers for that. Help yourself to some cigarettes off the floor." One offender also helped himself to a box of Milk Tray chocolates as he made off.

One of the offenders was wearing distinctive clothing, described as a grey, tweed flat cap, sage green jacket and beige trousers. This male has been described as white, about 50- years-old, stocky build with grey hair. The other male offenders are described as younger, dressed in dark clothing.
