Cyclist road deaths, IVF and energy blackout

The number of cyclists killed on Great Britain's roads rose by 10% in 2012, the UK looks set to become the first country to allow the creation of babies using DNA from three people and the government has dismissed a proposal that big shops and factories could be paid to cut their energy use to prevent shortages leading to blackouts.
