A US Senate committee claims Apple owes America nine billion dollars. It is not the first tech giant to stand accused of tax avoidance and just like Google and Amazon before it, Apple says it hasn't broken any laws. That may be so, but is funnelling tens of billlions through subsidiaries in Ireland really the behaviour of an ethical business?
