Dark Girls - the documentary and the director coming to the UK

Duration: 05:50

A powerful and sensitive documentary exploring skin tone racism WITHIN the black community, will be screened in the UK for the first time later this year.
Dark Girls looks at personal accounts of women with dark complexion...to show that 'racism' also exists among black people.
The film is a product of actor and director Bill Duke....and its Director, Producer and Executive Producer D Channsin Berry, who spoke to BBC UK Black's Colleen Harris.
It includes snippets of the trailer....and contains language that some listeners may find offensive.
