Restoring justice - Birmingham’s IPCC commissioner on reform of the police watchdog

“Woefully underequipped” and “failing to get to the truth”, critics are scathing the police watchdog for England and Wales. Its poor record of police prosecutions following deaths in custody has also put the Independent Police Complaints Commission under fire.
