The mass X-ray screening programme

The mass Xray programme comes to Poplar. Having succeeded in securing a visit from a TB screening van Dr Turner pulls off an epic day with backing from the midwives. Sister Evangelina is in her element wrangling the crowds and quite literally keeping them in line, while Dr. Turner explains the practicalities of the procedure to those keen to screened.
One who is less thrilled by the prospect of a visit to the screening van is Sister Monica Joan. Back at Nonnatus House she has locked herself in the bathroom, while Jane and Fred work to secure her release.
