The day as it happened

- Artists re-recorded the Beatles first LP 50 years to the day, in the same studio at Abbey Road for Radio 2 and BBC4.
- Stereophonics, Joss Stone, Ian Broudie , Difford, Tilbrook & Jones, The Merseybeats and Friends, Beverley Knight, Graham Coxon Paul Carrack , I am Kloot and Gabrielle Aplin have all recorded tracks.
