Reaction to the shooting of 14-year-old Pakistani women's rights advocate Malala Yousafzai. She was shot by the Taliban while in a car. They have said they took the action because she was speaking out against the teachings of Islam. Two other girls were also wounded in the attack. A Taliban spokesman has confirmed that Malala had been the target for the attack, calling her campaign for education rights an "obscenity".
