Welcome to Newsday

This first edition of our new show comes from the Floral Buffet in the heart of the City of London. The cafe is in Spitalfields Market, just on the outskirts of the Olympic Park.

In-between visits from traders coming in for their breakfast, Nuala McGovern and Paul Bakibinga interview Olympic athletes and hear some important updates from Syria.
