Harts Nursery is a family business specialising in lilies, which they exhibit as cut flowers in the floral marquee. They have won many gold medals at RHS shows and we join them as they prepare for their tenth Tatton Park show to ask why they are so passionate about one of the nation’s favourite blooms.
The lilies are displayed as cut flowers for ease of transportation so they reach the show in the best possible condition. They recommend three types of lily as good performers. These are Oriental, Asiatic and Pot lilies.
