The phone-in at 9, Should free bus passes for pensioners be means tested?
A Conservative MP has said free bus passes for wealthy pensioners need to stop.
Nick Boles also says the same about prescriptions and wants other universal benefits, such as free television licences for the over 75s and winter fuel payments, to be means-tested from 2015. He says older people must shoulder their fair share of spending cuts. His suggestions are part of a drive to save £10.5bn from the welfare budget.
