Drink-driving figures in Cheshire

40 per cent of people arrested for drink driving in Cheshire last year were under the age of 30, Cheshire Police have revealed, we'll ask if that means the drink-driving message is failing to get through to younger people.

The Department of Health predicts that the impact of tomorrow's strike by doctors will lead to 30,000 operations being cancelled, 58,000 diagnostic tests postponed and 200,000 outpatient appointments rescheduled.

Staffordshire County Council say they are prepared to respond quickly to communities affected by any flash flooding at the end of the week.

You can hear how plans to close the Royal Mail delivery office in Kidsgrove have been dropped, we'll be looking ahead to the double sunset expected in the Staffordshire Moorlands later today, and we'll have all the best from the final day of the Cheshire County Show.
