This month's BBC Introducing session took place at the Stourport Civic Centre, where we recorded four local acts.

Red Room Therapy met after Hereford drummer Jordon Robinson met Osh Q, Jason Edwards and Danial Bryan at the University of Glamorgan.

Their vast range of influences can be identified in their songs from the likes of Audioslave to the Pixies.

With funky powerful riffs and catchy melodic vocals, they make an impact at every show they play.

They haven't got a Big Chill Festival to look forward to this year - so on Sunday 8 April, we're bringing our recording truck into Ledbury and parking up at the Market Theatre.

On board will be some of favourite local bands, rappers and Djs - and we'd like you to be part of it!

Come on down anytime from 2.30pm - it's free to get in.

We're going to hear from a young musician in Herefordshire who's doing his bit for a charity in India.

Billy Kwong is a member of the band Telescope and have been heavily featured on this show!

Billy's organising a fundraising gig at Canon Frome Court tomorrow - with all profits going to Project Trust - so we thought we'd invite Billy on to tell us a bit more about it.

Five of our most inspiring musicians from Herefordshire & Worcestershire headed to BBC Maida Vale and Abbey Road - to learn about the record industry from some of the biggest names in music.

Muchuu, Tina V, Small Morris, Robinson and Tripbuk - many of whom featured in our Top Ten Tunes of 2011 - travelled to West London to hear advice from Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor, Wretch 32, Jamie Cullum, Maverick Sabre, Friendly Fires, Magnetic Man and Frank Turner.

For the second year running, DJs from across the BBC Radio networks including Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, 6Music, Asian Network and Local Radio hosted a day of sessions, workshops and masterclasses.

Other industry names included Festival Republic's Melvin Benn - who's responsible for the Big Chill, David Haynes from Soundcloud, BBC Radio 1's Head of Music George Ergatoudis and founder of Mute records Daniel Miller.

Tonight we hear from the head of BBC Introducing, Claire Thomas, about the event and our plans for the summer.

It's the event that brought you the signings of James Blunt and Florence & The Machine - and this year the Kidderminster-based MAS Records are at SXSW in the United States to showcase Midlands music to record label bosses.

The annual conference, known as the industry's festival, takes place every year in various venues around Texas.

Also in Austin is the Redditch website gotseen.com - which offers live streaming of gigs.
