Train brakes overheat on Peruvian railway
British Train driver Simon Davies slowly takes a heavy goods train down the Peruvian Andes, in the BBC 2’s ‘Toughest place to be a Train Driver’.
He is spending ten days working as a local driver, and he knows he can’t let the 2000 ton, mineral laden mining train go too fast or it will runaway with him. But he soon realizes driving too slowly can also be dangerous.
