Widely recognised as one of Britain’s leading flute players, Juliette Bausor is principal flute of both Northern Sinfonia and London Mozart Players and also regularly appears as guest principal flute with orchestras such as BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia.

Success at a young age, including winning the Gold Medal in both the Shell LSO and Royal Over-Seas League Competition and reaching the Concerto Final of BBC Young Musician 1998 as winner of the Woodwind Final, has lead to invitations to perform as concerto soloist with the Academy of St Martins in the Fields, European Union Chamber Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players and Ulster Orchestra.

Juliette regularly appears as recitalist at major international festivals and has given live broadcasts on Classic FM, BBC Radio 3 and BBC television. Engagements abroad have included tours to Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, Namibia and New Zealand, with forthcoming invitations including to perform at the 2012 Bulawayo Festival, Zimbabwe in May.

A sought after chamber player, Juliette is a member of Ensemble 360 and has also recently performed with the Elias, Badke and Carducci String Quartets, harpist Catrin Finch and pianist Llyr Williams.
