This month we celebrate the reopening of our newly refurbished Hereford studios with some of the best acoustic and electronica music from across the two counties.

Tonight we hear the incredible story of the Swiss musician, Burton Paul, who went to work for a record company in LA, moved to London - and ended up in Hay-on-Wye.

Hear his tales of life, love, music and Harley Davidsons!

Our next recording session will take place on Sunday 8 January at Evesham Arts Centre from 2pm. All are welcome. Admission is free.

For the seventh year running, throughout the whole of December we won't be playing a single CD, MP3, tape or vinyl - because we're giving you the music you won't be able to get anywhere else on the planet.

In 2011, we swapped our cramped studio conditions for the public arena and took the show on the road to some of the most happening places in the two counties.

This week, hear some of the performances we recorded in the spring and summer at the University of Worcester, the Royal Oak in Leominster, BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Carlisle, The Wychwood Festival on Cheltenham Racecourse, Glastonbury, The Hatch near Tenbury Wells and The Big Chill at Eastnor Deer Park in Herefordshire.

We've sent our roving reporter Andy O'Hare out to a new under 18s live music night at Velvet Lounge in Worcester's Angel Place.

"The Grind" is a fun-fuelled Friday night for teenagers to be held once a month - featuring the coolest young bands on the scene.

It's also an opportunity for the younger, inexperienced musicians to receive a little bit of guidance and play to a decent sized crowd at a well promoted gig.

It's a 13+ event, aimed at teenagers, although old fogies (18+) are welcome too - I think O'Hare's going to stand out a little then...

They sold more than eight million albums worldwide, started playing together when they were 15-years-old and two days after finishing their A levels were playing Glastonbury.

Tonight we catch up with the Ash frontman Tim Wheeler who, this weekend, is playing in store at Rise Records in Worcester.

Tim talks passionately about the future of music, downloads and how festival gigs can not only make - but break a band financially.
