Ruth visits the Home Secretary to speak with him about an arrangement to secure UK residency for the daughter of an asset who is currently involved in a life threatening MI5 operation. She is concerned that they are not living up to their end of the bargain which was to bring the assets daughter to the UK and assure her residency in exchange for his co-operation. The Home Secretary explains that he'll honor the agreement pending a positive outcome to the operation teaching Ruth a valuable lesson in politics.
