The Voice doesn’t care how many knockbacks you’ve had before. It’s just about coming out and smashing it on that stage. Don’t take our word for it – just ask Jessica Hammond.
I’m not interested in money or fame; I do this because I love it.Jessica
The 17-year-old student from Belfast has been to a lot of auditions and had a lot of no's. But things were a little different at her Blind Audition, at which she performed a laid back version of Jessie’s ‘Price Tag’, accompanying herself on the guitar.
The performance not only impressed Jessie, who slapped her button lovingly; it had all four coaches turning in their chairs. Despite strong appeals from all four A-listers, especially will.i.am who offered to be Jessica’s roadie as well as her mentor, she only had eyes for Jessie, stating she’s “all about the music.”
Jessica is thinking big. It's certainly not about the money, money, money but it IS about winning.
