Prog 3 - Into Action

Listen in pop-out player

Edward Stourton continues his series about the coalition set up after 11 September 2001.

The bombing begins. The Coalition's propaganda machine is put to the test against riots in Pakistan and concerns in the Middle East. The Chinese and the Americans find they have something in common and Pakistan begins to see the benefits of taking a stand against the Taliban. But the fall of Kabul, when it finally comes, takes many people unawares.
