Paula Banks is a mum in a million. She's got three children, is a volunteer at a special needs school in the West Midlands, and performs in her local choir. Husband Carl nominated Paula saying she was a constant support to their family, and was a tower of strength when he lost his parents recently. Paula and Carl's son has ADHD and now Paula works with children who have a similar condition. John surprised Paula, who thought she was there to watch the show, and performed The Carpenter's classic "Close To You".
