Ralph Rivera - BBC Industry Briefing Keynote

Ralph Rivera began the BBC Industry Briefing on June 17 at BAFTA in London. This keynote speech looked forward to a future of connected devices, with one service on four screens. Ralph described how media are the intersection of software and technology, describes the ten products that make up BBC online, and how the audience responds to the different devices. He describes a combination of editorial, algorithmic, and social curation working together on the BBC. He looks toward the devices working in concert. Finally, he describes how the BBC cannot do this by itself, but only in concert with the partners and suppliers in the room.
