Every Friday night from 7, Andrew Marston brings you an exclusive live session here on BBC Hereford & Worcester.

This month there's performances from Tripbuk, Natalie PYT, Pablo Alto and Tropicaux as recorded at the Royal Oak in Leominster.

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 29 May at The Hatch near Tenbury Wells from 2.30pm and admission is free.

We fell in love with Tropicau when they uploaded their music to us - back then they were under the guise of Bungalows.

Josh, Matt, Marcus and James met seven months ago at school, through mutual friendship and over the internet and have already performed a number of high profile shows in London.

Whether you're a singer or an MC, a band, a solo-artist or a DJ, there are loads of things to consider when you're starting to make music.

This month, we're offering advice from Marina and The Diamonds and Chipmunk on writing your first songs, Toddla T and Pulled Apart By Horses on buying the kit you need and rehearsing, and Tim Westwood on starting out as a DJ.

This week we look at recording your music on the cheap and how not to be stung by the recording industry.

  • Interviews

It's a great week for BBC Introducing and BBC Hereford & Worcester, having picked up a Gold Award at the Sony's and adding an extra 30,000 weekly listeners to the radio station in the last three months.

Some of our national success stories in the last few years include Florence & The Machine, The Ting Tings, Chipmunk and The Temper Trap.

In the next few months our stage is returning to Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, T In The Park and during the next couple of days at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend - so we hear from our execute producer on what promises to be an exciting summer.

This week, we're sending our resident reviewer Andy O'Hare to the Pyramid Party in a field just off the M50 near Ledbury!

In the past few years, the Pyramid Party has taken place in Malvern and last year was held twice at The Lamb Inn.

A stunning array of the best local talent will play here over three days.
