Synopsis

Live and local music, special guests and lots of fun for a Saturday morning.

Thirteen Senses perform live in the studio, Karen Morton chats about lost Gothic author Eliza Parsons, there's music from husband and wife duo Jazz Lounge and movie news from Paul Moxham.

Thirteen Senses

They come from over the border in Cornwall and have just released the latest single from their album "Crystal Sounds".

Led by songwriter Will South, the band consist of Tom Welham, Adam Wilson and Brendon James.

They'll be playing live today.

Jazz Lounge

Jazz Lounge are a local, musical husband and wife duo.

They perform a wide variety of swing, jazz numbers from The Great American Songbook as well standard easy -listening tunes at festivals, clubs, parties and everything else inbetween!

Karen Morton

Author Karen Morton has written a book about the lost Gothic author, Plymouth-born Eliza Parsons (1739-1811).

When Karen was a child, she and her parents spent a lot of time in Devon, and had friends whose parents lived at Stonehouse.

She's returning to the county today to tell us all about her research and the subject of her book.

Moxham's Movies

After midday, Paul will be reviewing the latest films to hit the local box offices.

This week he'll be looking at Russell Brand's remake of the Dudley Moore classic Arthur.

As well as super-charged car action in Fast And Furious 5.
