  As a news organisation, how can the BBC report on news when it feels it has to censor ‘controversial subjects’ in order to maintain impartiality? All political news, by its nature, is controversial and excites a range of viewpoints – there is no consensus on anything political. Why is the BBC making this decision only over Palestine ?   BBC you need to relearn what impartiality means. It does not mean not giving offence to the Israel Lobby. It does not mean censoring content that is not approved by all. It means sticking to the facts and letting them guide you. Palestine is not free by legal definition. That is not in the east bit controversial. Gaza is under blockade. The Israeli army can enter the West Bank at will against the settled will of the Palestinians against all norms of self-determination.
