2 hours
First broadcast:
Sunday 30 January 2011

Neil's Sunday evening programme is a mix of reviews and previews from the world of arts and culture, mixed with a selection of music that will leave you wanting more.

In 2009 Ben Southall from Petersfield won "the best job in the world" becoming an ambassador for Hamilton Island in Queensland Australia. Now Ben is about to embark on a Great Barrier Reef adventure. He tells Neil about his plans.

Portsmouth duo Same Difference, who shot to fame in the X Factor, talk about their home life in the south and their new album.

Neil joined families at Sparsholt College near Winchester at the annual lambing weekend.

And passengers passing through Southampton Airport last week were treated to an impromptu classical concert as Fly Away Mozart was being performed by students from Woodlands Community College.

Lena Samuels reviews another top DVD.

And this week’s A-Z playlist theme is ‘computing’.

For those on the roads across the south of England, there is travel news as it happens. And a smile is promised as the weekend draws to a close.

BBC Radio Solent offers a choice of listening on a Sunday evening, with Neil on 96.1 and 103.8FM and on the BBC iPlayer, and The Paul Miller Soul Show on digital radio and the BBC iPlayer.
