Reya El-Salahi

Born in London and raised in Qatar and Oxford, Reya joined BBC Radio Nottingham in 2009.

Reya's career in radio began while studying Sociology at the University of Nottingham. During this time she volunteered at a community radio station, where she gained hands on experience of presenting and producing. It's a path she'd recommend to anyone interested in radio.

After graduating from the University of Nottingham, Reya studied Broadcast Journalism at the London College of Communication.
