In the last episode of Speed, Jeremy Clarkson looks to the future and comes to the extraordinary conclusion that speed is over and everything is slowing down.Not only that, but 20th century speed machines are becoming toys, and to prove it he takes the controls of a fighter plane in a dogfight with a German. He reveals his number one speed machine of all time, the Vauxhall Vectra, and annoys his wife by putting a supersonic jet fighter in his garden as his tribute to the century of speed.
