Synopsis

Sir Terry Wogan presents the Prom from Hyde Park, with the the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Martin Yates, who open the evening with the 'Overture - Girl Crazy' by Gershwin. Next up is Dame Kire Te Kanawa with favourite arias by Puccini. Jose Carreras follows with famous love songs. Gareth Malone brings his talents to bear on a Children's Choir, who 'Rule the World'. Kerry Ellis and Brian May follow with a set including 'We are the Champions'.
