What happened when design naif Owen Bennett Jones met design guru Paola Antonelli at a hotel in Switzerland? Well she didn't like the folksy Swiss-style table lamps for starters. As design curator for the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Paola knows a thing or two about good design and she thinks more of us should pay attention to it and to designers themselves, who she says can bring fresh ideas to everything from health policy to biochemistry.
