Synopsis
Rajan Datar finds out about the challenges involved in reporting British politics to an audience that might be thousands of miles away. He talks to Norman Smith, political correspondent and presenter of Politics UK, who explains the importance of avoiding party political detail in favour of issues that are of universal relevance.
Why are there no programmes on the BBC in the Telugu language, which is widely spoken in parts of India? Rajan finds out how the World Service chooses the languages in which it will broadcast.
