Synopsis

Dry season in the Pantanal swamp of Brazil is a hard time for cattle and many die. But the bodies do not go to waste. Black vultures swarm over a dead cow, but are driven away by a jaguar. She makes repeated attempts to keep the vultures at bay, and to drag the carcass away. She has two cubs to feed, and the cow carcass is a valuable food source.
