Synopsis

These five-year-old chimpanzee twins probably learned how to snack on protein-rich flying termites from their mother. This rarely-seen behaviour had never been filmed before, even by cameraman Bill Wallauer who'd been working in the Gombe for 15 years. Although the steeply sloped forest often affords an eye level view of treetop activity, in this case he had to film from ground level using a long lens.
