On today's programme: Philadelphia's first black mayor; and Redundant in Rotherham pt 4.

Mayor James Young of Philadelphia, Mississippi
Outlook speaks to the first black Mayor of one the most notorious towns in America: Philadelphia in Mississippi. It's notorious because of the racist murders that took place there in the 60s and the film those events inspired called 'Mississippi Burning'. James Young has described his appointment as an "atomic bomb", and he tells Outlook how proud his parents would have been of his achievement.

The UK Credit Crunch
In our fourth report about the impact of the credit crunch on the UK we hear from the town of Rotherham in the North of England, and how people's lives there have been disrupted as a result.
