Paula was born and bred in Stoke on Trent. The middle child of three she grew up on a council estate in Norton with her mum and dad.
After a broadcasting career spanning 16 years, which has taken her to Surrey and Nottingham, she's finally back with her extended family living in Tunstall.
Between 1-4pm every weekday you can hear Paula's potteries wit and wisdom, mixed in with some great music.
There's also plenty of celebrity interviews to keep you entertained.
In the past on her afternoon show, Paula has interviewed Denise Van Outen, Jimmy Osmond, A-ha and Phil Tufnell, to name-drop a few from the music and entertainment world.
Paula got married in 2009. She got hitched to her BBC colleague Ajmal Hussain, and Tunstall is still reverberating from the huge party that was held in their honour.
