  • London Calling

    Our London Calling act featured this week were the East London 4 piece who go by the name of Hatcham Social.

    They've been together for 3 years now and their line up includes:

    Toby on Vocals + Guitar.

    Finn on Drums + Vocals.

    Dave on Bass.

    And Jerome on Keyboards + Guitar.

    The track played was the band's new single on the independent lable Fierce Panda Records, entitled "Murder In The Dark".

    1. Where in Greater London are they based?

    Dave is from Cricklewood and Toby, Finn and Jerome a reside in East London.

    2. How long have they been making music?

    As a collective since early 2006.

    3. Style of music and influences?

    Indie pop, Influences: Beach Boys, Pavement, My Bloody Valentine.

    4. Best moment so far?

    Making our album with Tim Burgess.

    5. What song they would most like to cover?

    We did a free download covers E.P that we gave away at Christmas and included Nirvana's "Love Buzz"
