You can hear James on a Saturday morning mixing your favourite classic hits with new tracks and chatting to the best stars of the local music and arts scenes, comedy, sport and entertainment.
James' first duties for BBC Radio Humberside were over ten years ago, as a Sunday afternoon broadcast assistant. Since then, he's presented or produced most of the programmes you hear today. He says: "To be from Hull, I'm really proud to work for the BBC station that serves my home as well as the rest of Northern Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire." You can hear his weekday show from 7.30pm until 10pm. When he's not in the studio, James is the station's head of music (so if you're singing along to your favourite songs during the day, it's his fault), he describes himself as the sensible member of the BBC Radio Humberside sports' team. Away from work James is a huge Hull City fan.
