Claire Carter Jenny Eastwood is the new editior of the Gloucester Citizen.

Chris Baxter has been in radio for over 20 years. Originally from Nottingham, Chris moved to Chepstow when he was eight years old where his parents ran a gift shop. His first radio exprience was as a presenter on hospital radio in Newport.

Having spent a number of years aways from South Wales and the West, joining BBC Radio Gloucestershire in 2010 was like coming home! He's worked in a record shop, commerical radio, as a TV presenter numerous BBC radio stations across England.

He studied 'Technical Communication' at Coventry University, where he learnt to write and design technical manuals!

He's a keen walker and has completed many long-distance footpaths, including the Cotswold and Pennine Way.

Chris is married with two children and lives in Stroud, where he's gradually exploring the many footpaths!
