Siôr, a Baptist minister working in full-time education, has been part of BBC WM since the early 90s.
Born in Bridgnorth, but with a Welsh mother and a Scottish father, he considers himself a bit of a mongrel.
He's actually lived almost the whole of his life in the West Midlands, with a sharply developed local sense of humour. He had to develop it, he says, because he supports Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Early Show on Sunday mornings gives him the chance to play inspiring religious music.
"I know that music taste comes and goes in churches, but some music has a timeless quality whenever it was written. I try to get a mix of the religious music that reminds people of the things which matter - whether it's old or new."
