Clue 1 leads to a general area not a specific location. It isn’t solved until the producer says so. No sneaky cheating mobile phones/anagram devices in the studio. No researching online in the studio. It’s only used to receive listeners contributions. No Sat Nav in the Radiocar. No calling-ahead to locations to ask if they have clues – this includes listeners.

If you are still stumped after 20 minutes you may have help. Only 1 allowed per quest. There are three options - Three Yes/No questions (in 30 seconds), The consonants of the location but not split into words, Map zoom of the area. These are decided by the producer

The contestants have the final say on decisions about where to send the cluehunter. If the location guests spoil it and let slip online that they hold a clue this will not be passed to the studio.
