James Vickery joined the BBC in November 2005 as a broadcast assistant and has worked on a number of programmes throughout the years.
He's now taken up the role of presenting BBC Radio Devon's Saturday Sport show.
Sport has always been a major part of James' life.
His family are life-long Exeter City fans and he had to sacrifice his season ticket at St James Park to start his regular weekend shifts in the studio.
"I grew up listening to radio football commentaries and aspiring to be the next John Motson," James said.
"The only thing we would talk about at home on a Saturday evening was football.
"My granddad and parents would spend hours analysing the afternoon's match."
After years of working behind the scenes, James is now the voice of Saturday Sport.
The programme provides live commentary on Devon's top football and rugby sides each week.
There are also regular sport updates from across the UK and around the world.
