BBC Introducing in Essex

Every Friday at 7pm, BBC Essex Introducing brings you the best and latest unsigned music from the county.

Ollie is your host for an hour of unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar music, live sessions and gig information.

Bands featured on the show have gone on to receive airplay on Radio 1 appear on the BBC Introducing stage at high-profile festivals such as Glastonbury, Radio One's Big Weekend and the Reading & Leeds Festival.

Whether it is indie, rock, metal, rap, classical or house - Ollie wants to hear from all genres and corners of the county.

Its not just bands, but solo acts, DJs and producers!

Upload your music

If you're in a band, a solo artist or a bedroom producer and you want to get the music you're making played on BBC radio, upload your tracks to BBC Introducing.

If you enter an Essex postcode when you register, your songs go straight into BBC Essex Introducing's inbox.

You'll be notified automatically when your tracks are listened to by someone at the BBC or if they're going to be broadcast. If we like what we hear, you might even bag yourself a session or a slot on the BBC Introducing festival stage.
