Danny was born in Deptford, south-east London, and has already had a varied career including working in a record shop, establishing music magazines, journalism and a a varied career in radio.

He began his radio career at GLR in 1989 and since then has worked on Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5Live.

Danny has been at BBC London 94.9 since 2001.
