BBC Introducing on Radio Humberside

Alan hosts BBC Introducing on Radio Humberside at the BBC studios in Hull with a weekly live session and live acoustic performances.

The playlist is made up of the best new music from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire so listen out for your favourite local bands as they get their debut radio airplay. A musician himself, Alan is a veteran of many festivals including Glastonbury where he drummed with signed Reggae band Back To Base.

These days he still gets to hang out backstage, hosting the BBC Introducing stage at Leeds Festival for the past two years. At home, Alan's drumming genes are already showing in 6 year old son Harrison who makes a mean rhythm with his colouring pencils.
