Most interesting fact about you: I have one eye that is long sighted and the other is short. If I get my contact lenses muddled up I walk round in circles!

Claim to fame (other than being on Three Counties Radio): I tread the boards on a regular basis with my local Am Dram group. Today Bedford, tomorrow Hollywood darling!

Most embarrassing on air incident: I was once arrested live on air on the Big George Breakfast Programme and spent the morning in a police cell and being interrogated. The policemen got so into their roles they almost convinced me I actually had done something wrong and I turned into a nervous wreck not saying much. (Never a good thing on an all speech station.) I then had to spend weeks afterwards explaining to people who had been listening I hadn't really done anything wrong and we did it to show the criminal justice process and how it works. Not sure some of them believe me even now!

First record bought: I should be so Lucky by Kylie Minouge

My favourite place in Beds, Herts and Bucks: I'm partial to a stroll down Bedford Embankment on a summers evening or wrapped up snuggly with my furry hat, scarf and gloves in the winter. Whatever the season a stop off at a local hostelry to quench my thirst always rounds it off nicely.

Desert island luxury: My bed. I'm terrible if I don't get enough sleep.

My hero: Dolly Parton
