As BBC Radio 5 live BBC Three Counties Radio joins BBC Radio 5 live.

ON NEXT : 04:00 Wally Webb

Ernie Almond joined BBC Three Counties Radio when the cement was still wet, apparently he just knocked the door and persuaded us that we couldn't manage without him!

Most interesting fact about you: I'm a LOT younger than I look!

Most annoying trait: Tend to name drop

Claim to fame (other than being on Three Counties Radio): Have entertained the son's and daughters of more than one royal family

Most embarrassing moment (not on air): Whilst on stage compering a very big function in London I forgot the name of the first artist!

Most embarrassing on air incident: Interviewing a vicar in the ladies toilet of a pub. (It was the only quiet place!)

My favourite place in Beds, Herts and Bucks: All of it.
