Nigeria insists it will not agree to a swap deal with militants holding dozens of schoolgirls. Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has said sorry for making racist remarks, saying they were a "terrible mistake" but one civil rights leader tells Rhod the apology is too late. Also, the European Union has condemned the independence referendums which have been held in parts of eastern Ukraine as illegal.
