It's International Jazz Day and to celebrate Stephen Duffy is joined in the studio for a session and chat with composer and pianist David Newton, six times winner of Best Jazz Pianist in the British Jazz Awards. He is joined by pianist and composer Euan Stevenson.
Jamie Cullum has another recommendation for us and this week it's a brand new BBC Introducing artist, and in Pocket Legends Stephen looks at the life of Jimmy Rushing a blues/jazz crossover artist who is most famed as regular vocalist in Count Basie's Orchestra.
