Sirocco Winds

The Sirocco Winds Ensemble, recent winners of the Governors' Recital Prize for Chamber Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, play live in studio.

Jamie talks to Hannah Foster, the young flautist from Edinburgh who's appearing in the Woodwind Category Final of the 2014 BBC Young Musician of the Year on BBC Four on Friday.

Opera singer Claire Rutter talks us through the classical work that means the most to her in this week's My Music.

And, fresh from the tour of a lifetime with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in India, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland students Henrieta Wake and Ewan Zuckert tell us what they've learned about the art of performance.

And - hear what happened when Jamie visited Scottish Opera to get an insight into the preparations for their production of Puccini's emotional masterpiece Madama Butterfly, opening in Edinburgh next week.
